I've been using AI coding assistants for some time now, and overall, they're pretty good. They can't fully take over my desktop just yet, but they can sit next to me and provide a second pair of eyes when needed.

There is one thing that AI will probably never be able to do however. And that's navigate the messy reality of how real businesses actually work.

The meetings gone wrong, the angry client emails that contradict what most users are saying, and the new privacy law that aims to topple years of coding logic.
