Hey folks,
PHP made headlines this week after researchers disclosed two critical vulnerabilities that could allow attackers to execute code remotely on affected servers.
The vulnerabilities, collectively known as PHP2Shell, have apparently been lurking in PHP's codebase for over a decade.
And for the most part, they are indeed pretty serious. Both vulnerabilities scored a 9.2 critical severity rating under CVSS 4.0.
And the news outlets are having a field day with the whole thing.
But there's more to the story than simply another internet doomsday conspiracy.
In my latest article, I break down the vulnerabilities in more detail and go over who it impacts the most, and what they can do about it.
